A thought on philanthropy...
"Philanthropy is commendable, but it must not cause the philanthropists to overlook the circumstances of economic injustice that make philanthropy necessary."
The US-Saudi Women's Forum on Social Entrepreneurship aims to enrich the lives of women and their communities through the application of business and leadership skills to social needs, while generating societal and economic value.
Food for thought...
"Social entrepreneurs identify resources where people only see problems. They view the villagers as the solution, not the passive beneficiary. They begin with the assumption of competence and unleash resources in the communities they're serving."
-David Bornstein
